FROM STALLED PAYMENT TO ACTION

Stop chasing.
Establish the position.

Pavilion works out what is outstanding, what supports it and the appropriate route to move the account forward.

01

Review

Establish what was applied for or invoiced, what has been paid, what remains outstanding and what the contract and relevant notices say.

02

Structure

Bring together applications, invoices, valuations, variations, correspondence, notices and supporting evidence.

03

Calculate

Establish the amount properly due and, where applicable, statutory interest and compensation.

04

Progress

Present the position clearly and pursue it through an appropriate sequence of correspondence and follow-up.

RISK SHARED

No recovery.
No Pavilion success fee.

Where appropriate, Pavilion can undertake both straightforward and disputed payment recovery on an agreed success-fee basis. Rather than requiring substantial professional fees upfront, Pavilion shares the risk with you.

Our agreed fee is calculated as a percentage of sums successfully recovered.
01
Straightforward overdue paymentWhere entitlement is reasonably established and the principal issue is non-payment.
02
Disputed paymentSuccess-fee arrangements may still be available following assessment of the position, evidence and work required.
03
Initial assessmentNo charge. We review the problem sufficiently to determine the appropriate recovery and fee route.
04
Third-party costs are separateAdjudicator's fees, court fees and other external costs remain payable by the client. Where Pavilion supports an adjudication on a success-fee basis, the arrangement will cover Pavilion's professional time.

Firm doesn't have to mean confrontational.

The objective is payment. Sometimes a clear reconciliation and properly evidenced request is enough. Sometimes persistent follow-up is required. Sometimes formal escalation is appropriate.

Sometimes the problem is more than late payment.

If the amount itself is disputed because of valuation, variations, contractual entitlement, contra-charges, defects, set-off or the final account, Pavilion can examine the underlying commercial position as part of the recovery strategy.

You've earned it. Let's establish what's due.

Send Pavilion the details of the outstanding payment and we'll identify the appropriate starting point.
